Max (맥스, Maegseu) is a member of the M-03G Miniforce Team. He is the big-guy of the team and often does the heavy work.

History

Just like Volt, Lucy, and Sammy, Max graduated as a top student at the Miniforce Training Academy and safeguarded his own assigned village until he was recruited into the main team in 'Miniforce: New Heroes Rise'.

• According to 'Shaku, the pirate king', Max was a kind boy in his childhood and enjoys helping others.

Physical Appearance

Animal form:

Max is a muscular yellow beaver with a white V-shaped mark on his body. He has golden-brown eyes, a honey-colored nose, white muzzle, and a brown stripe on the top of his head.

Ranger form:

In Miniforce, when transformed, Max is taller and more muscular than the rest of the Miniforce rangers, with golden-yellow chest armor, helmet, metalclad arms & boots. Underneath the armor pieces is a black leather suit with fluorescent yellow lines running down his limbs. Max wears a yellow belt with a metal beaver design around his waist and an beaver face craved into the forehead of his helmet. He has a black visor with a rectangular white mouthpiece and a pair of small, square beaver ears atop his helmet. Max's symbolic shape seems to be squares, as his other teammates all possess circular designs in their suits.

In Miniforce X, Max had a taller and more realistic figure but is still the most muscular of the team. His yellow battle was a dimmer yellow, with design containing more elaboration with white details. The leather under his armor was no longer black, but a shade of dark golden-brown. The shape of his face, helmet decorations, visor and mouthpiece had also been adjusted. The rectangular gem on his chest originally was replaced by a diamond shape.

In Super Dino Power, Max's figure is once again smaller. His armor is lined with white trimmings and his visor and mouthpiece was once more adjusted. His visor is now a deep blue instead of black. Max's face is outlined with white and three claw marks are scratched across his chest. His suit was a brighter yellow, and he gained a fin on his head just like Sammy. All this time, he was always the bulkiest of his team.

Human form:

In human form, Max has soft gray hair with two pointed spikes on his forehead. He wears a long-sleeves yellow shirt with a white V on his collar, pale brown pants with pockets, and yellow sneakers. His eyes are a honey-brown color.

Personality

Max has a very positive attitude, and is shown to be a gentle giant. Despite his toughness, he has a gentle and friendly demeanor.

Max has a strong sense of justice and absolutely despises those who attack the innocent. His righteousness sometimes gets the best of him, though, and tends to make him very impulsive and hot-headed. The impulse may sometimes result in putting himself or his team in danger. Max is extremely stubborn most of the time, but never too stubborn to apologize whenever he's realized his temper's made him act irrationally.

Max tries to see the best in people and values friendship very seriously. Being confrontational, Max believes he could talk out the trouble without using violence, but is more than capable when he couldn't control himself or when he's dealing with irritating enemies. He's very loyal to his friends and loved ones, often being the physical support for injured teammates such as carrying Sammy, Lucy, and many others during times of injury. It shows that sometimes his kindness and selflessness backfire on him and his friends. Similar to Lucy, Max isn't eager about taking sides during his teammates' quarrels unless he himself is involved.

He also seems to have a big appetite - whenever food is present (when he's not giving it away to someone in need or when it's not somebody else's food) he will gladly gobble it down like there's no tomorrow.

Max also has become more mature in Miniforce X than in the original season. He knows to deal with problems without using violence first, and has finally gained observant skills. In Miniforce, he wasn't nearly as sophisticated.

Relationship Analysis
Volt		Volt's relationship with Max is rarely emphasized, but their bond is strong as both friends and teammates. The two are often paired together during battle, as well as partnering for Force Bot Fusion during Miniforce. As the leader, Volt often prevents his impulsive teammate from charging headfirst at enemies, making himself responsible for Max's safety. When they're away from the battlefield, however, Volt enjoys playing little pranks on Max. And while Max is often unaware, or tolerates Volt's antics, he could be easily angered or provoked when Volt takes it a step too far, such as accidentally ruining a precious item. In situations like these, Max becomes furious and reckless, ignoring Volt commands in battle. However, the two almost always made up after their conflicts......almost.
Sammy		Max and Sammy's are polar opposites---Max's impulsive nature doesn't fit well with Sammy's calm and serious personality. Easily vexed by Max's hot-headed actions, Sammy often acts very stern towards him, snapping him back to his senses when Max's recklessness tampers with the battlefield. However, the two are still close friends and colleagues nonetheless. In Miniforce X, Max is often shown to protect Sammy from enemy attacks, as well as carrying him when he's wounded. The two of them now have an easier time communicating with each other, while still maintaining their contrasting personalities.
Lucy		Max and Lucy's relationship had grown significantly closer throughout the seasons. In Miniforce, Max's simple way of thinking and impulsive actions contrasts with Lucy's sensitivity and mindfulness, and therefore the two seemed to have a slightly weaker mental connection despite being close friends and teammates. They get along perfectly fine during daily interactions, yet Max's impulsiveness occasionally fuels him to yell at Lucy, and may unintentionally cause her danger due to his recklessness. In Miniforce X, Max's protective and nurturing traits became especially strong around Lucy, often shielding her from enemy attacks and catching her when she fell. He maintains a gentle, calm attitude around her, showing that he had matured from his initial hot-headedness. The two were shown to interact significantly more than before, sometimes pairing and collaborating during battle. However, on rare occasions, Max could also irritate Lucy - such as swallowing her entire ice cream in one bite......
Leo		The relationship between Leo and Max is a bit distanced, despite having become friends and colleagues. The two don't have much in common; while Max preferred to eat, sleep, and lift weights, Leo would rather spend his time with devices and inventions. However, they rarely have conflicts either, and Max is always more than happy to enjoy the fancy meals Leo orders.
Ray		Ray and Max don't have a very distinct relationship. Like everyone else, Max doesn't interact with Ray outside of battle missions. However, for Max and his teammates, Ray is still an important colleague who had saved them countless times, and whom they've shared life-or-death situations with. During Ray's initial appearance in Miniforce, Max fumed at his betrayal and continuously called him 'traitor', but after knowing Ray's backstory, he asked if it was possible to solve the misunderstanding. After Ray rejoined Miniforce and often came to their rescue, even saving Max from the effects of the invisibility bracelet, Max showed respect and care towards him. In Miniforce X, he invited Ray to fight alongside them, hoping Ray would join them in their next battle. In Super Dino Power, when Ray was controlled by Captain Powerman, Max hesitated to attack him.
Jacky		Max and Jacky's relationship wasn't specifically emphasized. However, Max does show a sense of care and protectiveness towards the new trainee during battle. He has a gentle and neutral reaction to Jacky's enthusiastic attitude, and shows confusion for Jacky's obsession with Volt.
